Shelly Baker, Founder of Nexus HR 

As a postgraduate qualified HR professional with over 15 years of experience, I founded Nexus HR Consulting to provide accessible, practical HR support for small to medium-sized businesses. Transferring the successful human resources strategies that are utilised in large organisations, to smaller businesses to assist with their productivity and performance, continues to be rewarding.

My experience is extensive, touching all areas of HR and employment relations. I have worked at various organisational levels, from the front line to senior executives and company Boards therefore can adapt to a variety of workplace situations and industries. In particular, I enjoy working in the areas that make an impact to business productivity and the bottom line including providing successful employment relations strategies for workplace issues, employee performance improvement, and retention and engagement strategies.

As a former executive, I have also successfully led a number of teams and can offer a wealth of experience in team management and strategic leadership practises.
